Pros

They give you a free backpack with the logo on it.

Cons

When given an assignment you'll have to Google the client's name because it will be somebody you've never heard of. Almost all of the work was either B2B or healthcare/financial services and the projects they did win were usually under-bid and under-estimated. Employees aren't given performance reviews and the rare salary increases didn't keep up with inflation. The company seems to grow mostly by acquiring smaller agencies and then scaring off their existing clients until the most talented employees resign one by one, leaving the company an empty shell of its former self.

Great Place to be if you are in the right group

Pros

Most managers seem to remember Work-Life balance is important; working on weekends (for example) is much less frequent than with previous positions at "big 5" consulting firms. Travel is NOT always expected, only really for the required face-to-face parts of projects, allowing more time to work from home / local office. Some clients require weekly travel, but it is not a basic starting point for Perficient. Great focus on emerging technologies, lots of great people to work with too.

Cons

Pay isn't great, I'd estimate it as a little below average for most roles. Trade off, though, with enhanced work-life balance. Upper Management seems detached from project delivery (consulting rather than sales) needs, challenges, and successes. Constant regular communication on the success of Salespeople, very little feeling of importance to those who deliver on those sales. Benefits are about average, nothing terrible, but nothing special. As of last year the company did not offer paternity leave, this might be changing though.
