      Hard to think of any. Awesome reputation of St Louis, Missouri? Guess not ...

      Cons

      Let's recognize what this is ... a 21st century redux of the 1990's era IT client-server to (failed) Internet roll-up buying a bunch of small independent IT job shops and magically transforming them into a cohesive, integrated services provider. And let's place management decisions for 500+ person organizations in the hands of IT project managers who've never managed more than 25-50 people ... EVER. What would you expect to be the result? Also, look at WHO is doing all the hyping. Great companies let their huge numbers of happy customers get the word out. Mediocre companies have to tell you themselves how great they are...

      Lots of independent business units all operating autonomously for their own benefit.

      Pros

      Lot's of freedom to create programs that will drive revenue. Some really smart people to work with.

      Cons

      Practically a VAR in consultant's clothing. Selling product takes priority over selling solutions. Read a lot about the staff augmentation drive, but I think it's changing toward selling product in many of the vendor business units. It's all about revenue. They increase next year's goals without any insight into where the market is headed or what happened the prior year. Just up, up, up. Delusional is a good word.

      Pros

      The only pros that I could think of is that Perficient tries to place you with clients within your region.

      Cons

      Like other reviews have mentioned they are truly a staff aug body shop. Additionally they will lay a person off (fire you) without any notice without any reasoning whatsoever. Engagements are extremely chaotic with very little management oversight or overall planning.
