Pros

While I’ve been with Perficient for a very short period of time, less than a year, it’s super exciting to be involved with a number of Clients that are cross industry. Additionally, the competence level of fellow employees is very high and I’ve yet to find someone on the team that is not brilliant in their respective tool or subject area. Lastly, it’s been so nice to get engaged with new practices based on my desire to try new things. Keep up the great work!

Cons

Try to keep the small company atittude even as you grow

Good consulting sweet-spot

Pros

Disclaimer: Everything is dependent on which business unit you are a part of. There has been a steady number of acquisitions but they are only lightly integrated. Therefore the business units are very different for better and for worse. The reviews on this board tend to be all over the map (but likely accurate) for this reason. My comments are with the national IBM group: - Great size - get to work with mid to large sized clients but are not lost in a sea of people - Company is growing fast which creates lot's of opportunity for individuals to advance careers fast - Seem to make effort in hiring quality people in addition to a resume which creates a good work environment - Travel is relative, some don't often but some do a lot - ask what individuals of the business unit typically have - Hours are not demanding when compared to the large consulting firms which creates a good work/life balance - however, extra work is noticed for those who go above and beyond

Cons

- With fast growth some opportunities tend to fall off the table - Probably a better company for ambitious people, career growth is not necessarily based on years contributed but what you are doing with that time - Pay is relative to the individual but can sometimes get unbalanced - When business units are required to work together it can be great, but also has the potential to be choppy if they operate on different levels or have different methods

Pros

1. Good salary 2. Good bonus 3. Good projects

Cons

1. Some of the people are hired in US just because they have the work permit. 2. Bonus is dependent on being on billable projects
