Pros

Work from home Stipend Good people on your actual team

Cons

CEO and the rest of the leadership team is super elitist and it reflects on their hiring practices and how they’ve let people go who have met expectations. Never seen moral drop so fast as this past year. Anyone whose saying not everyone can handle the fast paced environment of a start up is pretty mute cause most people who’ve worked here have already had start up experience

Pros

I guess maybe opportunity? But insanity at leadership level caps that. You’ll be overlooked, judged, scolded, and misunderstood at every turn.

Cons

Very sales-negative. Animosity towards sales. PermitFlow overanalyzes everything into a pulp and shoots themselves in the foot. Leadership will kill your deals, and then ask you why you aren’t closing deals.

Pros

If you would like to work for a startup, there is no better time to get into the door at a startup than after a Series A. PermitFlow is well-funded but acts financially bootstrapped (i.e. disciplined with spend), encourages creative approaches to problems other companies would just throw money at, and give you the flexibility to run your workflows in a way that works best for you, PermitFlow is big on promoting from within as we grow as well. Culture is collaborative and supportive, with a healthy tension between some teams that pushes excellence in everyone. Leadership is young but dedicated, energetic, and transparent. Expect 2x monthly all hands that update the entire company on business developments and upcoming product launches as well as frequent updates from leadership.

Cons

It's a true startup experience, so many of the problems that plague other Series A startups exist here: lack of standardization, limited performance development (through recently improving), and a heavy reliance on self-directed training/continued learning. I expect these all to improve as the company grows and completes subsequent funding rounds.
