It can be a caustic environment, not a professional culture. Too many decisions are still political or made in self-interest (e.g. good for a functional silo but not for the broader company). This ends up pitting operations against quality, or mechanics against supervisors.

There is little attention paid to safety at the locations outside of the headquarters; little opportunity for advancement outside of the home office location.
