Pros

You get flex 40 hours, which are pretty good. You can never be late to work, unless you are several hours late then you need to give them a heads up. Sometimes the flex 40 is pointless as they still do not want you leaving unless it is past 4:15

Cons

The job is a glorified admin assistant job. You just have other technical things you have to manage day to day. The management is ok in getting you started and learning, but still the problem overall with Perrigo is the poor training structure and not a lot of options for advancement.

Pros

Global company Growing industry (pharmaceutical) Lot of nice non-manager people who want to do a good job Pay (base and incentive compensation) decent

Cons

Ineffective leadership (incapable, not strategic) Short staffed throughout Lacks diversity & inclusion (even though global company - Yikes) HORRIBLE orientation, training & on boarding Unsure of HR purpose, no value, not proactive Lacks direction (just doing tactical work) IT is just there, not proactive No accountability throughout entire company Great CEO yet how great if all stuff happens on his watch Folks just collecting their pay checks Bonus plan needs revamping

Pros

Good pay. Average benefits that continue to be cut. Flexible schedule/opportunity to work from home in some departments.

Cons

Company prides itself on its five pillars but it only gives lip service to them. If you are looking for a company that rewards employees for their performance and holds people accountable to do their jobs, this is definitely not the company for you! The separation between performers and non-performers on your performance/merit review is 1/2-1% increase. Diversity program is another area that is lacking and only lip service is given too. This is not a program that upper management believes in or devotes resources towards. Lots of programs get started but aren't sustainable because of limited resources or budgets an example is training and development. Global company that hasn't spent money to put systems in place to lay the foundation to be truly successful. This company has more Director/VP level positions than is warranted.
