The remote staff has been forgotten about. It's rare these days that I hear from the supervisors or management. They used to (previous leadership) do "wellness checks," where we would spend an hour or so to go over updates, ask questions, and, most importantly they would ask how we were doing physically and mentally. It's tough to keep people engaged, especially remotely, but they had it figured out before, and I felt appreciated. That made me go the extra mile and work harder. Since the recent management changes, that no longer exists. I'm no longer motivated as I feel like just a number. This isn't the environment anymore where you want to push yourself and work extra hard because, quite frankly, I no longer feel appreciated. Your efforts often go unnoticed, so what's the point? Like many of my co-workers, I'm just going through the motions. Many people have recently left the company, which I am considering doing too.
