      During my first 5 years at Pharmavite, it was great; however, with the restructuring came a lot of negative attributes.

      Pros

      Good medical benefits, good place to gain experience, pay is average, multiple facilities, many long term employees (though most are starting to leave).

      Cons

      No training provided to be able to excel at your job, and if you don't excell you get the boot. With the restructuring of Pharmavite over the past 4-5 years, the leadership team is obviously not aligned with eachother and can not even follow the values they try and instill in their employees. It's a sad story, to see what was such a wonderful company start to crumble. They used to truly be #1, but with time it is obvious they are going to be ran over by the competition, because they do not have the trust and support of their employees anymore. Very sad.

      Morale is very low across the board especially in Operations, positions/depts are very under staffed.

      Pros

      Very stringent quality controls. Products are among the very best in the industry. Pay and bonuses are above industry average. Excellent employee discounts on vitamins and supplements (at cost).

      Cons

      Everyone is overworked and stressed. Management is heavy handed and closed-minded when it comes to the amount of workload per worker. Don't make any mistakes or you'll pay. This is a Marketing company. If you're not in Marketing, be prepared to kiss their butt.

      Pros

      Good compensation, nice amenities at corporate office (vitamin store, etc.)

      Cons

      No work life balance, angry and incompetent management, very low morale, everything is last minute and very disorganized. 401K and Vacation policies are worst in class.
