- The company's culture is based on "chaos"; not good if you ever plan on being able to work professionally and successfully with clients
- Sales is considered "king"; they will say whatever they have to in order to get a sale. Actually witnessed a sales leader refer to treating clients like women and "hitting and quitting them"
- "Work too hard" attitude and not "Work smarter" attitude; always putting out fires instead of thinking ahead or logistically
- No accountability among team; forget follow up from team members and, really, forget good communication.
- Sexism, bigotry, and overall hostile work environment; an open office environment, no privacy, nor filter for what people say. One time all the women in the office -just the women- were requested to clean the kitchen - that actually happened. There's also not one woman on the leadership team. And when this was brought up to leadership, the excuse was "women leaders are tough to deal with".
- HR Tech company with no HR.
- Poor communication; clients have actually said, "it feels like there is just this core of leadership who knows what's going on with the products and who makes promises to us, but then they never tell anyone else" - that is spot on.
Overall, working for Phenom People is just like being a client for Phenom People - they constantly over promise and under deliver.
