Pros

Made a few good friends. Had a few regular customers who made leaving a little bitter-sweet. Not much more to say.

Cons

Looked over for opportunities multiple times. I was training incoming GM’s for other stores for a year, but whenever I looked at becoming one myself was kind of brushed off. It is a man’s world, which was clear by the lack of diversity at the GM level and beyond. Worked over 50 hrs a week and was expected to do so much more than credited or compensated for. Unreliable staff left the good employees we had doing the job of many, but honestly at just above minimum wage, you can’t blame them too much.

The biggest pro was the weekly pay.

Cons

Let's just say there isn't a lot of diversity above the store level. All of the top execs, VP's, Division Directors, and Region Managers are white males.
