I got to meet some great people working here and they keep you busy.

Cons

Moving up involves a lot of politics. If you work overnight then you can say goodbye to any chance of advancement. Many hard workers do not receive the credit that they deserve and everyone would just blame the previous shift for every problem that occurred on their's without considering the possibility that they may have had a terrible shift. Upper management only paid attention to the few employees that they would interact with and people would backstabbing and lie to your face to move up.

Pros

I have had the opportunity to spend 6 weeks at PFJ's support center in Knoxville, TN rotating through many departments including marketing, operations support, and logistics. This opportunity to network and share ideas with upper management as a new hire is incredible. After our department rotations each LA member went to a Travel Center location to further their infield development and management training.

Cons

There are some challenges at PFJ. I work a minimum of 50 hours a week, but I do have weekends off. Your advancement opportunities will come quicker if you are willing to relocate. So once I finish my management training I don't know where I could be relocated to.
