Pros

Co workers try to have fun, but we rarely have more than 30 seconds to chat. Management works as hard as we do.

Cons

You can almost count on working two or three shifts every week. Almost always need one more cashier than they are willing to pay. Nothing gets cleaned well or often enough because they keep cutting payroll to up profits Customers complain constantly about long lines and pump key pads never working. Help desk is so overworked that after 20 minutes of being on hold waiting for them we often hang up and send the customer away with nothing. Grave shift cashiers work all alone quite a bit of the night. No lunch, no break, no restroom break. Gaps in maintenance on weekend nights so bathrooms, garbage and showers are a total mess when day shift comes in and people complain all night about the mess

Pros

I like working for pilot, one of the best companies that I have ever worked for!! I have been promoted fast and have had alot of opportunities for advancement. It helps if you are an outgoing person and put forth effort to help out in anyway that you can. overall i think that if you try you can go far with this company. it doesn't hurt that they are expanding rapidly and need QUALITY people to fill the positions. the stores tend to be run well and upper managment atleast in my zone are very down to earth and make up feel like part of the pilot family

Cons

one of the main downsides that i see is that if you want to advance u need to be willing to go where they will send you. If you are not able to be flexible in relocation then you have to wait for some of the upper TC management at the local store to get promoted, quit or get let go. you have to also have to flexible as to when you will work. for the most part as a cashier or maintanance person there is not a set time that you will work every day. they tend to hire more people than are needed so the hours that you are given are not always what you need. but if you play the game and do a good job they will take care of you for the most part.

Pros

Meeting different drivers from all over the world daily. Liberal management.

Cons

Upper management doesn't care about the problems in the store. People are promoted for the wrong reasons. Hard work is not a matter of importance. Knowledge of products and services are not appreciated.
