Pros

Great technology that solves real issues, customers generally love it. Full of very bright people that do whatever it takes to help when there is a fire. Many people work from home, which allows the company to get the best talent regardless of location and gives employees very good work / personal life balance.

Cons

Some growing pains that are normal in a startup and that not everyone can live with. Benefits are generally good although 401k match could be better.

Pros

The technology is really cutting edge Products work as advertised Lots of chances to take on work outside your expertise The future of the company is promising

Cons

Culture - Employees could be treated better, the company struggles to come together or move towards better practices to fix the culture, No one knows how to fix, because no behaviors are changing. If nothing changes how can the culture? Benefits - Not competitive, lacking all around, Tough career path here Not a great amount of motivation from the top. High employee burnout

Pros

Some smart people to work with. Ability to work from home and good benefit package compared to industry average.

Cons

The company as a whole could have been in a much better place if they knew how to manage growth. All the challenges can be tracked down to the growth hiring frenzy: hire fast, never fire. A lot of key positions were given to incompetent internal and external individuals that lacked the required technical expertise and ethics but because they were either smooth talkers or been long enough in the company they were given decision making positions. Birds of feather flocking together, majority of strategic decisions are made by incompetent people. That led to an unstable product, unhappy employees, talent fleeing away and frustrated customers.
