Tone deaf leadership - senior and executive leaders No work-life balance High turnover High earnings company but no raises and low pay for the individual contributors No loyalty to those who helped build processes that worked; big promises and zero return Loss of PS culture with acquisitions

Thanks so much for your candid feedback. I can see how “the good old days” are desirable. Change can certainly be uncomfortable, especially the type of transformational change we’re leading at PlanSource to do the best for our employees and our customers. But change can also lead to opportunity, as we’re seeing here. So far in 2021 we’ve seen 20+ Customer Success employees promoted, with increases in both responsibility and compensation. We need leaders at all levels in our organization who are excited to drive transformation, and for those that can rise to the challenge there will continue to be both current rewards and future growth, both within PlanSource and the broader Vista ecosystem. As a proof point, you can look not just at your peers in Customer Success who have been promoted but also at the broader PlanSource leadership team and see how many people are on their second or third Vista role, each with increasing levels of responsibility. We value performance and caring for our employees, and this leads to growth and success for everyone! Thanks again for taking the time to give us feedback, we do appreciate it, and hearing the negative ways our transformation efforts are being perceived is helpful for us so that we can continue to improve. Pros

Since you will get no training, you will only hear from management when a client escalates a complaint to them.

Cons

So many. 7 different managers in the last 2 years. Your peers have to train you because managers won’t. VP level is a joke. Everyone who starts there transfers out—managers included. If a client complains, you will take the heat for a manager/co-worker failure. Company won’t staff properly and there is much more work than people to do it. No time to transition clients to service because the onboarding workload is crushing so you get buried. I could go on forever.

The roles in Implementation are very important to PlanSource’s success and client escalations need to be addressed urgently especially during Q4 so as to help our employer and broker community prepare for their Open Enrollment. This is a unique environment and best suited for those who are willing to move fast and operate with excellence. Given the depth of knowledge employees gain on our platform, while in Implementation, they do move to other positions as part of their career progress or promotion. We also have rolled out our new Management Development program to help our managers lead effectively. Once again, I appreciate your feedback and ideas on work needed and how we can improve.

Pros

Company really truly cares about their employees and offers wide range of benefits as well as other perks to keep it a fun and great place to work. Since starting at PlanSource I've been blown away with our Marketing Team and the amazing work they do for the organization. (Puts to shame some of the other marketing departments at previous companies!) The training provided when I joined was so completely invaluable and thorough. From my lens leadership wants people to succeed and takes the time to invest and ensure we have what is needed to be successful in the role. Most importantly, this leadership team can listen and take in honest and open feedback and create change out of it.

Cons

Like any larger organizations, there are silos, though I see improvement in this arena.

Training and Development is something PlanSource takes very seriously, as we strive to provide our employees with in-depth continuous learning and training; in fact, we just launched PlanSource University of which we are extremely proud (thanks L&D Team)!
