A Fast Growing Company to Work for

Pros

I was kind of weary of working for a mortgage company because it was not the fun job I was looking for out of college except Planet has exceeded my expectations. I enjoy coming to work every day since there is something new I can learn. I love working with my department and I feel like I have been with the company for longer than my time here. I get to interact with different people and different divisions every day. My supervisor and team lead are very supportive and actively listen while still maintaining the company's business goals and vision.

Cons

There is not a dishwasher on my floor at my office! I feel like we are doing a disservice to our Planet with all the wasted plastic disposable utensils and cups.

So much potential for Planet Home Lending

Pros

I've been working at Planet for almost half of year and have seen the company change with the marketplace. The CEO is a smart and innovative and the company is pushing for massive growth over the next few years. I could not ask for a better team or boss at Planet. My boss is one of the most professional/wonderful/motivational people that I have worked for. I enjoy receiving constructive feedback and I am also able to give open feedback as well about the company. Planet is a medium sized company, but it feels smaller when I'm working with branch managers and loan officers across the country. Everyone is really friendly and appreciative.

Cons

The alarm system on the weekends needs to be fixed. It will go off for hours, which can be distracting.

Pros

The comp is awesome at Planet. I work for the new Direct Retail department and they let me set my own comp! I have never worked for a place where they let me set my own pay plan. They are very flexible with me when I need time off and give me plenty of good leads to keep my pipeline full with Loans. They also have loan programs that others don't. FHA scores down to 500!!

Cons

I hate the morning drive there, the traffic is horrible. The lay out of the work atmosphere is kind of cold, its very big and it very hard to know who works for the company.
