Pros

PlanetArt operates multiple brands in multiple countries. The unique portfolio offers a view into various customer segments with the ability to create, test, and learn. They make rational decisions and are aggressively working towards a bigger and better future. One of the best places I have worked in my career. Senior Management cares about the future of the company and are their to support the teams as needed.

Cons

Being spread around multiple geographies, time zones, and across brands can cause challenges in communication. Video conferencing helps, but need to work towards a better way to get face to face and solve problems as a unified group. As the world shifts I have no doubt this challenge can be overcome.

Pros

I have been with the company for over 15 years and have seen many changes to the industry and company. Through it all, the owners and upper management have been flexible and opportunistic in keeping the business strong. Throughout the growth, they have kept the working environment as a small company where everyone can make a difference.

Cons

Planet Art has made numerous purchases of other companies. This has caused extra workloads at times.

Pros

Senior leadership made sacrifices to keep employees on during the uncertainty of the pandemic when a lot of other companies in the industry did layoffs right at the start. I think that truly showed they care about the people that work for them. The Town Hall Meetings are always inspiring and a good reminder of why we work so hard. The actual day-to-day work is interesting, challenging, and fulfilling and I genuinely like most everyone I have worked with at the company. I have learned so much from the head of my department. She is always willing to take the time to give feedback on work and share her knowledge and expertise. She has high standards but is also really talented, so if you are able to put your ego aside, you can grow a lot from working with her!

Cons

There are very high expectations of every employee, and rarely any downtime between big projects. If you are like me and prefer to keep busy, it can be a good fit, but if not, be ready to push yourself!
