Pros

I've been with PlanetArt for many years now but I started from a Jr. position and worked my way up to director position. There is a lot of opportunity for growth here as the company builds a positive atmosphere for interaction with senior staff, the CEO and President, even if you're new! All of the teams are passionate about what they do, and it's obvious that their commitment has helped the company grow and adapt in an ever changing world. The senior staff encourages the growth of newer and younger employees. A lot of the upper management once started out as entry-level employees themselves, so there is a desire to pass the torch and help others grow now that they're in higher positions. This rings very true for the creative departments. PlanetArt has grown substantially in the time I've been here, and there is a positive outlook that it'll continue to be a very successful and stable company to work for. The CEO, President, and Senior staff took the pandemic very seriously from the very beginning. They took notice of the warning signs well before shut downs started in the US in 2020. I was really impressed with how accommodating and well prepared they where for it all. Throughout the work from home schedule, they took feedback from the staff across their multiple offices about how to better adapt to our ever changing world. Honestly even on stressful days when we are pushing to meet deadlines, my favorite part of PlanetArt is the people I work with, everyone is so nice, understanding and passionate. That alone makes it work coming to work every day.

Cons

I have colleagues at other companies who have told me of their company's "benefits". Some tell me their companies have in office gyms, the fanciest coffee machines, candy rooms and even in-office slides and breweries ( no joke! ). PlanetArt doesn't have these things... and while these things sound really enticing, especially when you're starting out, I found they're not always the most important thing.... but that being said, if there is something you'd really like to see at PlanetArt, there is opportunity to voice your ideas here. In my time here I've seen changes made when enough of the staff gives their opinions.

Pros

Company spirit is very entrepreneurial and will be a great fit for individuals with a similar mindset. The company is very supportive of employees who invest their talents into trying to make a difference. The management holds a sense of full responsibility for their job and expect the same of their staff.

Cons

Not that many cons to mind. Having more regular town hall meetings could help with better communications of company strategies and long-term vision.

Pros

The CEO and President's vision of a more connected and engaged world, established through the creation, strengthening, and celebration of human relationships, is not only a vision for the business, but it is being lived out and realized in the workplace here at PlanetART. The culture here promotes engagement, creativity, empowerment, and success. I have worked in different parts of the company, and the one constant is the great relationships that I have built with my co-workers and the support from leadership in the decisions that I have made. I am excited to work at a company where the vision is not merely a slogan, but a way of life.

Cons

While at any job there are expected bumps in the road, here at PlanetART the positive energy serves as great shock absorbers to smooth the ride -- dissipating any cons that might come up.
