Pros

The office environment is pleasant, with a convenient location right outside the station. They also offer free breakfast, which is a nice perk and adds a friendly touch to the workday.

Cons

During my time at Planview, I experienced a concerning lack of fairness in how sales leads were distributed. Certain employees consistently received the best accounts—not based on performance or merit, but seemingly due to favoritism or internal connections. When I raised this issue with my manager, I was told to “eat the frogs,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. This culture of favoritism trickled down from leadership to team managers, creating an environment where field sales reps had to work harder with fewer opportunities, while others were set up for success. If you’re someone who thrives in an equitable and transparent work culture, this might not be the right fit. However, if you're comfortable navigating office politics and can tolerate internal biases, you may have a different experience.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and some of the things you enjoy about the Stockholm office. We take the concerns you've raised seriously and want to share a bit about how our lead distribution process works to ensure transparency. Leads are routed based on defined territories, which are assigned according to geography and language. For example, if an SDR is responsible for the French market and speaks French, they manage all inbound and outbound efforts for that region. This structure is closely tied to how we hire, as language proficiency and market knowledge are critical for effective engagement with prospects. While inbound leads are a valuable part of the mix, a significant portion of success in the role comes from proactive outbound efforts. Inbound leads cannot simply be reassigned outside of the territory model, as they are aligned with our Target Account strategy and the regional responsibilities of each SDR. We understand that this model can feel challenging at times, especially in territories where the volume of inbound may be lower. However, it is designed to ensure alignment with market expertise, language needs, and our strategic go-to-market approach. We’re always open to feedback and committed to fostering a fair and supportive environment. If you have more you would like to share, please email HRFeedback@planview.com.

Pros

Your coworkers are the only reasons you will have to keep working there. The only bright spot of working here were the skilled and wonderful people I worked with.

Cons

Don't expect a bonus or a raise, but do expect your responsibilities to continuously grow without even a title change for years.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We're happy to hear you've had a good experience with your coworkers at Planview. We tend to find that the people we work closest with are the individuals who most impact our experience of the culture and values. While there were some changes to our merit schedule in 2024, we did conduct a cycle, and a majority of employees received an increase. Our leaders participate in a talent process annually to calibrate on talent across the business and propose promotions during this time. We also have career conversations every year where employees can address career growth topics and build development plans with their managers. We encourage any employee struggling with these conversations or topics to work with their manager or request time with their HR Business Partner to help prepare. We want to see everyone succeed and grow at Planview. There were challenges in 2024 amidst macroeconomic issues that caused us to reevaluate some teams. It was important to ensure we had the right skills to achieve our strategy, which also included retention and investment efforts in various parts of the organization. Currently, over 50% of our products team in Austin has 10+ years of tenure with Planview. Impacting employees is truly a last resort and we take great care in the decisions made and the communication to our team members. We would like to learn more about your experience and concerns, and we would encourage you to share any additional feedback by reaching out to HRFeedback@Planview.com

Thank you for taking the time to leave share your feedback. While we are happy to hear that you liked the culture and your colleagues at Planview; we are disappointed that you were unsatisfied with other aspects. Our management structure has evolved over the past few years as the business has grown and we have developed more of a matrixed approach to leadership. We believe that individuals should have a direct manager in their location / time zone / or country whenever possible so they have the proper support and feel empowered to take action during their workday. Teams do however need to collaborate globally and with functional leaders to stay aligned. The matrixed structure can be challenging but ultimately will provide the best support for individuals and the business as we grow. We benchmark compensation and total rewards regularly to understand market dynamics by level. Our merit process is connected to the pay bands associated with this benchmark data as well as other factors like performance and location. We'd love to hear more about your specific experience if you'd be willing to share additional details; please email HRFeedback@Planview.com
