Very positive and self-motivated team, a great deal of autonomy with clear expectations, and plenty of opportunity to try new and interesting things. Plixer is a fairly unique company in the sense that the majority of its employees are very passionate and dedicated to the fields of technology they do business in. While this can a little daunting to the un-initiated, I've personally never had a question or concern go unanswered. Substantial resources and training are always available and water cooler discussion can be quite enlightening. Great office in downtown Kennebunk with all the creature comforts and fantastic access to local restaurants and shops.

I've been employed at Plixer for over a year. Overall, it has been, and still continues to be a great experience. Everything at Plixer is an open book. New developments, partnerships, marketing, and any exciting news having to do with the company is shared to the entire team. Management also encourages, any ideas/suggestions that you may bring as well. Annual Snowmobile trip to Mt. Katahdin (100% paid), company Christmas party, Lunch and Learns every Friday, Bocce Ball tournaments, golf outings, free beer Fridays are a few ways Plixer shows apppreciation and tries to stay fun. Great starting pay and bonus plan which is extremely fair and made reachable every month. Career advancement is preached from day one and promotions are almost always made from within the company. Plixer goes above and beyond to make sure all employees feel appreciated. If you're looking for a fun environment to work in that's team oriented I would reccomend this job for you.
