Pros

Pay was good, and because they had no experience with saleforce.com they paid full OTE for the whole time I was there. Great snacks in all the offices, walls of snacks and drinks Great SWAG, hats, shirts, hoodie

Cons

Pricing model is so out of whack for the e-learning industry Arrogant Senior Management that things their selling Oracle Vision literally changes every 4 months at the company wide townhall Sr. Management talks about keeping promises, but my brief time there was just a whirlwind of unmet commitments they made to me. Total "bro" culture, VP's hiring buddies from former jobs, no diversity at all in the sales organization.

I’m surprised by what you’ve shared here, and grateful to know how you see things. What you described isn’t what we’re after. While we stay nimble as a business which means we may shift our strategy short term, we’re committed to our meaningful long-term vision, which hasn’t changed. And as you mentioned, we are committed to having a diverse team and an inclusive culture - we’ve made progress (started our Women at Pluralsight group, posted to hire our Head of Diversity & Inclusion, deployed a diversity & inclusion survey for our US team members, recruiting process changes, etc.) and there’s work for us to do and we’re committed to doing it! - Anita

Pros

At this point I can’t think of a single pro that makes working here worth it. Actually, I think working at Pluralsight hurts my reputation more than helps.

Cons

Layoffs in December 2022. (Days before Christmas) Layoffs in April 2023. Layoffs in August 2023. Run. The CEO acts like he’s a hero for not taking a salary…when he’s ‘made the difficult decision’ to lay off over 200 people in SEVEN months. Like, good for you bro?? Hope that helps you sleep at night. (Note: I haven’t been laid off. But I’m tired of being overworked and treated like I should be thankful to still be employed in the dumpster fire)

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience working at Pluralsight. It has been a challenging year for Pluralsight and technology companies in general, and we’ve had to make some difficult but necessary changes to ensure the future success of the business. In the spirit of transparency, Aaron shared with the company that he did not take a salary this year in order to address several team member questions about leadership pay. Based on what we shared in our most recent Town Hall we’ve got an exciting and thoughtful new strategy in play and I hope that you’ll find Pluralsight a great place to work again. I suggest you discuss your future with your leader, and if you still don’t feel Pluralsight is the place for you, perhaps there’s a better fit for you out there. -Will

Pros

Technology, and that's about it

Cons

Leadership Being sold to Vista (changed everything that was good about Pluralsight) Leadership Hitting your goals but getting let go because you make too much money and have a lot of stocks left to vest "Company values" are a lie Did I mention the bad leadership?
