Pros

Lots of great people work here. The pay is okay. The benefits are okay. Remote-first.

Cons

Floundering. Lots of floundering. Leadership lacks vision. They reorganize so frequently that they are unable to go in any one direction long enough to succeed. How they measure performance is arbitrary and capricious, even though they all maintain it's objective. Working here is a mirage. You'll feel like if you just try a little harder, stay a little longer then you might finally be able to make an impact--maybe even change the world.

Pluralsight Response

Thank you for the review. I’m sorry to hear you had a negative experience at Pluralsight. I understand your concern about the recent reorganizations, however, we believe they were necessary for the success of our business. I know that changes like this can be disruptive however we are committed to finding the best way to remain adaptable and evolve to meet the needs of our industry. Regarding performance management, our Talent Management team is continually refining our performance management processes. I agree that clear performance targets help team members succeed and grow in their careers and will look for ways to add clarity here. To your point about bonuses, like many other companies Pluralsight ties bonus to company and individual performance and we were pleased to pay out bonuses last year. -Will

Pros

Unlimited PTO Company week off every once in a while (every 3-4 months)

Cons

Hiring like there's no tomorrow without considering their budget and laying off lots of people after realizing their ambitious plans didn't work last year. Outsourcing is not the way to save the budget. Employees are the ones who have to suffer after the company is making constant mistakes.
