Do not work here

Pros

Unlimited PTO is good at least.

Cons

Pluralsight has had a lot of trouble of the past few years, and leadership changes have happened to reflect that. Unfortunatley the new regime is very cliquish, and the culture has turned very toxic toward anyone not in the "in-group". The reality is this company is on a downward trend and the people in charge are more looking to find blame than create solutions.

Thank you for taking the time to share your candid feedback. I recognize the past few years have been challenging for both the company and our team members and I understand your frustration. We still have a lot of work to do to improve our culture but it’s something me and the rest of the leadership team are committed to. Our recent employee engagement survey showed a 10-point increase to our eNPS since last quarter–a strong signal that we are heading in the right direction. Hearing that you’re experiencing a toxic and cliquey culture is disheartening and not something we stand for. If you’re open to it, I’d love to have an open conversation about your experience and explore ways we can improve together. We’re committed to continuous improvement, and your experience is an important part of that. - Beckey Woodard Cole (Chief People Officer)

Pros

You've read it countless times in previous reviews - the people at Pluralsight continue to be great.

Cons

Continual leadership changes, coupled with a weaker product and an extremely competitive marketplace is continuing to make life difficult here. If interviewing within the Success org, take special care to scope out your hiring manager, as the Directors have all been replaced with 'people-manager' drones that lack any understanding of the customer journey or "why" customers buy.

Pros

The people who work here are phenomenal. The company has a meaningful mission and well-built product.

Cons

Going private led to aa complete culture shift, loss of benefits, change in leadership and firing of many of our teams for cheaper labor abroad.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While I wasn’t with the company when these shifts occurred, I understand how challenging it can be to navigate such significant changes. However, we’re on a new path and excited about what’s ahead. We’ve welcomed new owners and a new C-suite leadership team, myself included. This team is deeply focused on positioning the company for long-term growth and ensuring that we’re delivering the best products and experiences for our customers and our team members. We appreciate the time you spent at Pluralsight and wish you the best in your next chapter. - Beckey Woodard Cole
