Pros

Health Benefits and the swag .

Cons

The company recently had a layoff. They got rid of 401K Match, dont smoothie Tuesday etc. and dont lower the doordash monthy to 20 dollars. There no diversity at this company at all. They try to make it seem like it is but its pretty bad. The Training for this company is horrible and they really no guidance. They are a real cut thraot type of company. if you dont get you number you will be fired doesnt matter if your close to the goal. My team started with 16 and at the end of the my time with them. My team was about 6 people reminding. I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone. Especially diverse community and the job is stressful but they very busy company going care about results. This company honestly heading downhill. they co-op one of there building, terminate 401k , got rid of Smoothies days . So its no job security with this company to be honest. If your remote its really hard to get promote compare if your at the location.

Pros

Podium is a fantastic place to work despite what is suggested by some of the reviews below. Personally, I have progressed through multiple roles and set myself up financially, and made friends for life - and I'm not the only one. Lots of opportunities for top performers to excel, broaden their skill sets and progress their careers and I would recommend Podium to anyone looking to take their career to the next level. Podium has a high-performing culture and those that perform are very well remunerated with many people in the team earning 200k-250k+. These top performers also closely nurture and coach the younger talent - especially those that actively seek this coaching. Now for a lesson from the school of hard knocks and tough surprises... If you believe that joining as a junior SDR with little to no SaaS experience will result in you earning more money than the average doctor (who studies for 7+ years) in just 6 months on the team, then you likely don't have a realistic understanding of your capabilities or how the world actually works. You need to be prepared to humble yourself, leave ego at the door, work hard and be innovative. You won't do well here if you fall into a victim mindset or think the world owes you something - it doesn't....

Cons

Podium is a growing business so things aren't perfect. Constant change is a certainty. Junior folks and those new to SaaS can find this destabilizing.

Pros

Remote work, interview process was smooth (although opaque), pleasant people internally.

Cons

Where to begin. They overpromise, under-train, describe the sales cycle differently than it really is. Above all the day-to-day sales expectations are not at all what they say they are throughout the interview process (hence why it went so smooth). I began in a new hire class of approximately 40 people given how many attendees were on the Zoom calls. After failing to reach metrics in order to "graduate" training, I was put on PIP and later terminated. I had a few LinkedIn connects that were apart of the graduating class reach out and ask if I survived, and they filled in that over half of the class had not. The overall tenure for over 50% of the new hire class lasted less than three months. Nowhere will you find any metrics on employee turnover related to Podium. When I believed I was starting a new promising sales role at an exciting growth company, I had actually been stepping away from a rock-solid tech company into a graveyard of salespeople.
