Pros

Pockets of good people still

Cons

Ego and arrogance at senior levels are eroding the culture and company. Rumors of ethics eroding from C levels as well. On sales side lack of experience from senior leaders combined with high pressure and egos makes for a toxic culture. The best senior sales leaders recently left which says a lot. Enterprise side has monthly quotas (even though they say they don’t) making it near impossible to get in any rhythm. Product still has a long way to go. Nice whistles and bells with feature adds but heart of product is still a review tool. C-Level pretty much absent except when they come out and scold the company.

Pros

Nice office. Company swag. Coffee. Lots of free food.

Cons

Where to start...let's start with the politics. Top reps at Podium aren't really top reps because they are the reps who get "free" deals. Leadership is so proud of this team that is getting these free deals. It's not hard to call a business and say "want Podium for free?" If you think that makes a good sales rep then you need to open your eyes. You're taking acknowledgment away from those who are actually top performers and grind. Not call people for free sign ups. Save your time and money and hire a call center to do this for you. That's all those reps are is a glorified call center and now they get all the glory. Fix leadership. Same thing as above. Very political...except for the recent outside hires from California, etc. That is the right move. Stop promoting leadership because they worked at Qualtrics. No one cares. Insurance is getting better but not the best. 401k is decent. Equity/stock options are very hard to come by and when you do get offered they really aren't that great...unless Podium becomes what they dream they'll become. They want to beat Qualtrics...not sure how that's possible with this type of leadership.

Pros

There are a number of pros that I can think about working for Podium. They have a lot of nice swag, awesome office, and some talented people. The perks are great like the gym, drinks, and swag. The executives are good at building up how great the company is, and they are investing millions in the brand trying to prove it.

Cons

This company lacks a real management team. I am not sure why they were able to raise millions of dollars for this hype machine. They talked about how they have loads of lead flow, but I found myself cold calling a lot. They act as if they were Qualtrics or other real tech companies that have sold for billions. Turn over is very high. They keep talking about new products, trying to keep customers paying a lot of money for very little value. I bought into the story when management told me where this was headed, but it was not a good fit for me. I like to sell something that has real value and where management cares about the customer for something more than their money.
