Pros

- The integrations team is amazing. I met so many great friends and have lasting friendships with them. - Macbook

Cons

I got this job in hopes that I could stay at home with my son and do back-end work. I was assured in my interview that I would do this job with a child at home. The onboarding process was a disaster. I had no idea what I was doing until three-ish months into the job. They went over high-level company stuff, like logging into email, internal messaging, and software the company uses. But when it came time to get into the actual job, I had to figure it all out on my own. When I was hired, they changed the onboarding process for a customer, which directly impacted my job. They added 50 more things to our day-to-day responsibilities and called it a 'stretch' without adding compensation for these additions. We had to be on calls with customers, cold calling them to set up the integration, and had to meet unrealistic numbers EVER SINGLE DAY. If you didn't hit these metrics, you were put on an improvement plan and were told to get your numbers up or you would be fired. I voiced my concerns to management and was told that I needed to be more optimistic and that I needed to do this 'for the team'. This no longer became a job that I could work at home with my son around. But, they don't pay you enough to put your child in daycare or hire a nanny. All this company cares about is numbers. They don't care about their customers at all. The integrations team, AMAZING. The company itself does a poor poor job to keep its employees and appreciate what their doing. After the MASSIVE layoff, I didn't trust the company. They are continuing to hire, doing monthly spiffs for top-rated employees, and throwing a giant holiday party to celebrate. Um, how about all of the employees that you FIRED a day before the layoffs so you didn't have to pay them unemployment? And don't get me started on the sales department. WHAT. A. JOKE. They don't hold any salesman accountable for what they are selling to customers. I had a customer that paid for 2 months of use of the Podium product, they ran his credit card at a trade show, and 'accidentally' charged him for 1 YEAR OF USE, over $8,000. He emailed me in hysterics because he put the charge on his personal credit card and it had been maxed out due to the Podium charges. It took WEEKS to get this charge off of his credit card and didn't offer him any type of discount for their error. The customer called me every day asking when the charge would be taken off and I couldn't get ahold of anyone in the company to help me. Don't work at this company unless you want to be chewed up and spit out. SO DISAPPOINTED.

Pros

- There are some good people working here - Product is decent

Cons

- Senior leadership loves preaching "extreme ownership" (Jocko Willink disciples), yet refuse to take any ownership or responsibility when their decisions have lead to multiple mass layoffs in under a year. - Salaries are lower than what you can find for other similar roles (although this seems to be typical for Utah based companies). - Company can't seem to figure out where they fit in the market. Tons of flip flopping on SMB vs Enterprise focus, reps segmented by verticals vs territories, etc. - It's a constant revolving door of AE's and SDR's. They're super quick to put reps on a PIP and walk them out the door without providing them the resources to hit their numbers. - Lots of overpromising to AE's while under-delivering. Example: When I was hired, I was told 70% of my leads/appts would come from SDR support. I received basically zero SDR support without having any adjustments made to my quota. Huge disconnect between what they tell you during the hiring process vs reality.

Pros

I honestly couldn't name one. I met a few good friends but that's it.

Cons

This is by far the most toxic work environment that you can be part of. They treat you like a number and the CSO is an absolute liar straight to your face. Picture reality TV drama at a company and that's what you've got here. Couldn't recommend less.
