Pros

In all honesty, before COVID hit Podium was an amazing company to work for. Great perks, co-workers are amazing and you are truly selling a product that can positively affect business.

Cons

Once COVID hit though, and the sales came in less frequently Podium's sales org started to show their true colors. The sales management truly only cares about their numbers and could care less about the sales team. Podium is so focused on hitting their yearly number that they have forced their sales team to come back into the office during a pandemic because they don't trust us to hit at home. If you work at Podium expect to have zero work-life balance. You will get slacks from your manager at 9:00 PM drilling you on deals and why they haven't closed yet.

Pros

Nothing really. Free red bull is about it.

Cons

Do not accept a position on the Plumdogs. Very awful and doesn't care about you. Just wants as much money as they can squeeze out of you. Very toxic atmosphere. Very political. They seem to promote those "liked" by a certain individual even if they can't even close 25% of quota. Things need to change or people are going to start leaving. Don't expect people to be in the office hitting the phones hard when management isn't rolling in until 9-10am. Practice what you preach.

Pros

There are great people that work at Podium.

Cons

People are under valued at Podium. You probably can get paid more elsewhere. Culture isn't as great as they sell. It often feels as though leaders spin the truth when they speak. People are often pulled from their teams to help on flavor of the month emergencies. There are high visibility teams that get 99% of the recognition and there is everybody else.
