Don't work here, there are other options
Pros
Up until the last few months Podium was a great place to work and this review would have looked very different back then. The people I work with are great and Podium gives you some decent resources for success if you're willing to work hard and learn. Pay and benefits are alright if you're hitting your numbers, but they're nothing special.
Cons
There isn't much opportunity here for growth, at least in the sales organization. They continue to let go of employees and management does a lot of outside hiring. They will claim they want to promote from the inside but their actions scream the opposite. Upper management has transitioned to "if you don't do what we say, you're losing your job." Although it hasn't been enforced quite as aggressively as it's been stated, it definitely shows in the culture. The micromanagement is at an all time high. It's obvious that Podium is bleeding as are many companies in this industry are right now. I don't think Podium has handled it well though within the sales organization. There are other options out there, I would suggest you go somewhere else if you're starting a career. Don't let them sell you on a career path they can't promise.
