Pros

Podium is growing and that is better than the alternative. It’s nice to have 401k matching. The rest is typical tech company stuff.

Cons

There are cons just like any other company. I don’t care about those or focus on them . The growing crisis here is how much we work and the weight pushed on us by executives. Days are fast-paced, but nights and weekends are now out of control. Slacks 24/7. There is no rest and we are being crushed under the weight. Go on unlimited vacation? That’s pretty much a joke at this point. You can’t take a single day without tripling your work, or take a hit on performance. I will leave as soon as I can. It’s a shame. So much potential, just no care for employee well-being. It catches up

Pros

I’d say there are few pros of working at Podium. The first is the hype around the brand. It’s sold as a hot startup in Silicon slopes and there is merit to it. Company is investing a lot. Cant complain about the swag and perks like gym, energy drinks. Monday town hall is great. People are nice, mostly younger crowd.

Cons

Management lies when they hire you. Right from the CEO to sales management, they are experts at spinning stories. There is no sales process or sales infrastructure. Be ready to cold call all day long. They have unrealistic quotas and there is very high turn over in sales. They fire so many AEs and ADMs routinely. Compensation is way below market. You are much better off joining Qualtrics or another tech company where management is not as arrogant.

Pros

It is a job that has benefits.

Cons

This is by far the most toxic culture I have ever been associated with. They hire 40 new employees every 2 weeks and go through turnover like wildfire. They do NOT care about their employees in any way. There is no support nor are the employees set up for success. The pay is extremely low and they do not communicate at all. It is the epitome of a toxic, white, bro culture. The one interview process is a facade as they will lie in the interview. There is no SDR support until you reach AE 3, so you are cold calling terrible leads with outdated or no information. Do yourself a favor and pass, huge regret.
