Over Promised, Underdelivered

Pros

It’s a large company across many states. They handle insurance companies on the back end. They have good ideas.

Cons

Unequal pay, as well as a significant pay deduction once the transition to employees occurred. Regional Coordinator is overworked. Absolutely NO support when it comes down to it. Admin and those not doing direct work appear to receive a majority of the benefits. (E.g., trips to Florida, communication, collaboration, insurance rates.) The people doing all the direct work don’t have access to simple things such as assessments and materials. Sharepoint is terrible. It takes a minimum of 15 hours to complete a report through their portal because Sharepoint is slow, down or deletes work. The PDF for the reports looks unprofessional. I am embarrassed providing a 6 month report to families/other providers. No business cards, no collaboration with others, no team feel among other analysts and RBTs. I take RBTs out on my own dollar to try and give them a sense of community. No ongoing training for RBTs. They are not only representing our company, but the field of ABA as well.

Thank you for your feedback! On behalf of our leadership at Positive Behavior Supports, I am very sorry to hear about some of the reported issues you have experienced! We want our regional leaders to be available to provide as much support and collaboration as is needed by a team member, and we certainly want a sense of community and teamwork fostered in every single region we serve. I do see that you are a current employee. I would gladly invite further direct and open conversation to discuss and rectify some of these concerns you have brought up. Please feel free to message me at athacker@teampbs.com! - Amanda Thacker, Recruitment Manager

Pros

- I struggle to think of any.

Cons

- Rapid growth, without concern for quality of services - Lots of empty promises, the "next best thing" is always on the horizon - Interested in the bottom line, will micromanage to increase revenue - Lack of follow through on projects - Mandatory use of slow, antiquated, data-base designed by CEO - Disproportionate pay, often influenced by gender (men make more) - Everything seems rushed and put together last minute - Lots of time spent "cleaning up" and redoing projects - Very reactive, not proactive at all - Poor management impacts client care and staff morale negatively

Thank you for your feedback! On behalf of the leadership at PBS, I am truly sorry to hear about some of the issues that you have encountered. While we are always striving to grow and help more families in more regions, we never want that to impact the quality of our employees experience with us or the services we provide. I see that you are a current employee. I would love to have a chat to openly discuss, and hopefully correct, some of these concerns you have brought up.
