As an expanding company, some minor typical growing pains. Working out roles and temporary voids.

Pros

assisting school-based customers to understand and report fr their students is very rewarding

Cons

management reactionary, constantly shiftingfocus from one fire to the next, so much so that no actual permanent solutions are found and put in place. Zero positive feedback, only bitter criticism of this issue or that - consequently, high employee turnover and poor morale.

Pros

Nice campus, good way to break into engineering without a degree or experience.

Cons

The product is of very poor quality. The processes and tools are poor. The code quality is unbelievably bad. The senior engineers there are mostly amateurs who worked their way up from tech support so they've never seen decent code and keep piling on bad code after bad code. I'm talking about Java classes over 3000 lines long with 1000 line methods that end in catch (Exception e).
