Pros

Great people to work! Love our product! The PowerSchool Portfolio of Products has the potential to help students, teachers, parents, and administrators everywhere! These are the reasons I love and continue to do, what I do. I feel like I am contributing to the greater good, by helping provide the educational community with tools that will bring a 21st century education into potentially every classroom across the country.

Cons

Corporate culture has changed drastically since sold from Pearson to Vista Equity, and not for the better. Dollars are valued over people, career advancement feels to be discouraged by Vista (get rid of the experienced, long-time employees, and replace them with entry level employees), salaries aren't competitive, and to top it off, the medical benefits offered from Vista are extremely costly to the employees.

Pros

Good product, learning and really smart people to work with in development side. Many hires are fresh out of college and good opportunity for new college graduates. Good new building and location.. Fast pace Agile scrum..

Cons

Since the acquisition last year the benefits of working for this company have been reduced and it looks good reviews are from new employees. Reduced paid time off for legacy employee who were part of old company. Salary is low compare to others. Reduced medical benefits. Talent is not rewarded and minimal investment in employees.
