Pros

Collagues , snacks and an office.

Cons

After being acquired, ordinary processes are now not known. Top management does not want to hear what’s not working from dedicated people. Attrition is rapid and has left great holes that weren’t there before.

Pros

Located in Folsom, some very good people work there, air conditioning works well, free sodas

Cons

Vista Equity's new (yet very weak) management, hypocrisy, lies, making terrible decisions for both customers and product, expecting people to continue to work more and more hours while being told they are under-performing, immense pressure to release unfinished software, astoundingly impossible goals and deadlines, severely diminished health benefits, unfair practices and policies, cronyism, constantly changing teams, unwilling to purchase necessary software tools and equipment, off-shoring jobs to India, training those off-shored jobs while working very late at night (unpaid and after-hours), unless you are Indian or willing to be a "yes" person there is no career path, quality senior people leaving for less pay just to get out, losing their first customer on the new flagship software (because the software was rushed and constant change in direction from upper management), insufficient parking, extremely noisy open floor plan which makes concentrating at times beyond difficult

Pros

It helps pay some bills while I look for a better job

Cons

Long hours, low pay, raises and bonuses are a joke. Jobs are being offshored to India as fast as they can in an effort to become profitable to keep the masters at Vista happy. I know this as my job is to move the work there and reduce US staffing. They care nothing about people, the dollar rules. Financial targets are unrealistic and not based on historical numbers or even company direction. They are pulled out of thin air and you are expected to hit them or else. Good people are leaving and products are poorly supported as they've lost the people who knew them.
