I have been working with Genesis since 2005, in different roles; all of which have allowed me to grow personally and professionally. I truly recommend this company in their career choice.

Cons

If you are truly committed to the healthcare setting and work hard there really are not any con's. the health insurance benefits have declined over the last few years.

CEU's accessible to obtain through company. But, not always sent to your professional organization.

If you do not meet the hours you are expected to work, your hired status could be reduced taking away your benefits on a quarterly basis. How would that work for a therapist that is pregnant when full-time and if caseload goes down this person can lose their medical benefits or education reimbursement. Management allows program managers to show favoritism, be ignorant to their therapists, dictate who to evaluate or not (due to no dollars left for Med B coverage,) adjust minutes giving more to assistants and reprimand employees on personality traits not based on performance in treatment or diagnostic skills, expected to travel between a number of facilities to fill hours, expect therapists to keep productivity and efficiency; however, they want every minute accounted for with all assessment evaluations, progress & weekly notes completed in therapy session and if you do not record all time on premise you can be fired. Time to unionize? I.
