Beware and be careful if you come to work for this company

generally therapists are caring and compassionate and work very hard

I have seen area managers come in and change the minutes on therapists' patients WITHOUT CONSULTING THEM, in order to increase the RUG levels. It baffles me why CMS is not investigating the overcharging. Management EXPECTS staff to work overtime, for NO PAY, in order to complete paper work and maintain unrealistic productivity levels. Getting PTO is amazingly difficult with all kinds of reasons why you can't take your vacation when you want/need to. What happened to this company???? Oh, and they are top heavy in upper manaagement. Too many cooks,,,,,

This is the Walmart of rehab. They expect you to mass produce billable minutes at the expense of your ethics and professional judgement. Micromanagement of therapy was not something I ever thought possible, but they have perfected it. Don't be fooled by their "Promises" and Core Principles...it is a guise to throw you off. They are concerned with protecting their senior managers and specialists and keeping their worker bee therapists as profitable as possible. They dont care if you work for them or not...especially evident in their low pay scale. Worst benefits Ive ever been offered.

It's a big company that comes with big company policies and procedures. You are a number and one of many. Not any diffierent than any other large company that I have worked for.
