Pros

Superb promotional opportunities for technology and people leadership roles. Great training and further education courses. Employees are empowered and encouraged to make decisions/choices. Innovation is welcomed and all ideas brought to the table are considered and developed upon. I spent 10 years with Pramerica and was sorry to leave but my family needed me to return back to Dublin.

Cons

Salaries are lower than Dublin but the cost of living in Donegal especially for housing make it more than worthwhile to relocate.

Great work life balance. Excellent learning opportunities. New campus is great and equipment is up to date and state of the art.

Cons

Salary doesn't reflect amount or complexity of work being done. Expectations are much too high for the compensation being offered. Management opportunities are not based on merit but tenure, even if the employee is excelling at their tasks management will find some excuse not to promote ahead of someone who has simply been there 'longer'.
