Pros
Flexible schedule, pay check was on time. Some decent trainings and CEUs provided. Some coworkers were great and made lifelong friends.
Cons
Industry and national pay is below average, new graduates in my job where making more than me. Worried coworkers would comment that I was doing the job of 2-3 people yet nothing was done about it...causing me to be burned out and being pulled in all directions with the growth of the program. They'll just keep adding work...and if you speak up you'll be accused of "not doing whatever it takes." You'll be micromanaged yet management doesn't know what's going on. There was no room to grow within the company, you'll be stuck in your entry level position doing the work made for multiple people and other programs will take advantage of your hardwork and try to get you to do work for them. Abuse from families and clients is tolerated. No clear discussion or explanation of what my role was...seemed like supervisor wanted me to be everything from administrative assistant, a free therapist for clients to call all the way to a service coordinator.
