- Flexible Hours - Holiday Observation - Good Benefits Package - Wealth of Knowledge - Educational Meetings/Seminars on products - Employee Appreciation - Positive Work Environment [Donut Fridays!] - Employee Wellness Programs - Management is always open to suggestions from employees

Cons

I don't have specific cons- the only cons are ones you would find in any other workplace [can't be lazy, must work well with others, put the customer first, etc]

Typical family business

Pros

-Friendly co-workers/managers, everyone has been with the company for a long time. -Stable, and you get an option to work at flexible hours. -Since there are many branch offices, there's a chance for relocation if you want to move to another state or city.

Cons

It's a family owned business. So unless you are a family member, there is no advancement opportunities.

Terrible management

Pros

Some of the people I worked within the machining shop were nice to work with.

Cons

Management is terrible to their employees. They hire family and let them get away with things that other employees cannot. Current employees have a lot to complain about. If you're asked to work in the router department you better run and hide. The "training" is terrible! It's a place where you make mistakes in order to learn. The problem with that is that you get in trouble for making mistakes. It's a no-win situation in that place. Again, the only good thing about that place is working with some good people.
