Pros

Decent people down in the orgs Always working with the latest technology

Cons

Executives and the C-suite just suck, they came in hard their first year and revoked all remote work and instituted the first lay-offs in a long time, which would otherwise be fine if they didn't do it in the most scrambled and damaging way possible. The company as a whole is always trying to squeeze every ounce of juice from the employees, and this is NOT how it used to be. The new C-suite has chilled off a little, but given how things are down on the ground, we're coasting toward a collapse.

Pros

1) good home/work balance 2) Compensation for legacy skills are fair. 3) Management gave clear expectations

Cons

1) Legacy Customer Facing Product. Not much green field left. 2) Tooling and infrastructure needs to be modernized a bit. 3) Private equity management and pushing remote employees out via layoffs is common place. 4) Fellow employee was transitioning from H1B to Greencard. Process stalled for over a year. Nobody in technical management could get an answer from the HR side.
