Pros

Decent work/life balance. I do not frequently work more than 50 hours a week.

Cons

Upward mobility is tough if not impossible. I started at this company with a couple friends who were at the same level, and none of us 3 have been promoted after positive reviews and many, many years. Now, the other 2 of my friends have just left the company, and most people in my start class are no longer working here. I have no clue why Protiviti is ranked so highly in Best Companies to Work for, probably upper management flooding the submissions. If I could go back in time, I would not accept an offer with Protiviti. Beware - you will regret it. Pay does not fluctuate from year to year unless you receive a promotion, and bonuses are nowhere nearly as good as they lead on when you get hired.

We appreciate your review and would like to understand more. Upward mobility and growth of our people are critical and we want to empower individuals through career progression, as well as provide them the tools and resources they need to get there. It sounds like we have failed to do this for you and we'd like the chance to speak more with you about this. Please reach out to your local People & Culture lead to have an open and honest conversation. Additionally, we'd like to point you to The Protiviti Career on iShare to watch our most recent webinar from December on Optimizing Your Career Path.
