Really good managers in my department Good pay Good products Pretty flexible with hours Good benefits

Cons

The typical large corporate view that periodically laying off workers is a good way to save money, regardless of the current workload. There are so many hidden costs to staff turnover of which management in many places I've worked seem oblivious.

High Turnover at the C-level

Pros

The working level teams were always enjoyable and generally open to challenges and creating great products in a great industry.

Cons

The management (C-level) was constantly going through changes and, while change can be a good thing, this type of change rarely allowed the opportunity for long-term projects to succeed. With each new CEO, came a new idea and trash-talk about the previous leadership.

Great people to work with. Felt like a family. Work is actually quite interesting.

Cons

Too hardware focused. Not will to invest in areas other than the dying Windows CE platform.
