Pros
You can't beat the location of the Boston Office...it's a beautiful building right near many of the tourist attractions such as Fanieul Hall and Quincy Market. The hours are long but flexible..people tend to roll in between 830-9. It's also a great place for young people to meet other like minded people of their own age. Most folks at PCG are smart, 20something females. They have the Clark MBA program - but don't plan on getting in for sure. You need to be on the consulting track to be accepted and even then, it's not guaranteed. If you are guaranteed entrance into Clark, in my opinion, this would be the only reason somebody should consider working at PCG.
Cons
You will either dedicate your life to PCG or burn out. The work is pretty boring and repetitive and people are very underpaid. Despite my flashy surroundings, I was only pulling in about $500 bucks a week after all deductions. This is barely enough to survive in Boston. There are alot of people who "drink the Kool -Aid" - brag about how many hours they work and how late they stay "proposalizing". Very few people who work at PCG have kids. If they are long term, it's not because they aren't looking...
