Pros

Management Consulting experience Location - Boston Some teams are great while others are not. Choose whether or work here or not carefully when you interview.

Cons

Terrible management. Bossy people that are very aggressive. Clients pretty much hate the consultants. They don't pay very well at all.

Pros

You receive project ownership early in your career and operate with relative autonomy. There is less travel than many other consulting firms. You interact with clients early in your career. Individual offices set their own culture.

Cons

There is little emphasis on development. Supervision and leadership is poor, uninvolved, and disconnected. Advancement opportunities are limited. The workload is much heavier for entry level positions than it is for senior level employees. Turnover is high. Projects are understaffed. The CEO appears to be very strong, but the rest of management are not contributing to his vision.

Pros

PCG offers an opportunity to do dynamic and rewarding work for public agencies. There is a lot of flexibility in working hours and location and provides a lot of independence and freedom to excel. The most successful people at PCG are those that thrive without boundaries but also without much guidance.

Cons

Disappointing communication from upper management often alienating the employment base and failing to leverage the one common thing that everyone works here for--helping the public good. Employees are asked to give a lot of hours to the cause with little monetary incentive.
