Pros

Here are some of the pros of this company: - Remote work - Benefits - 1 hour lunch

Cons

This is going to be a large list so please read all of it before applying: - Management is terrible. They are unorganized and very aggressive. One manager will tell you one thing and then the other will be having a meeting yelling at you about why you are doing it. - No sick days and no care. If you are at the ER or you are dying good luck, they will fire you. - They will fire you for anything. You could be the hardest worker for 5 years and never miss a day of work. But if you need to call out for an emergency they threaten to fire you or just do it. - Unrealistic standards. They want you to be able to make 110 calls a day but want you to sit and really get to know a member. So you could get your 110 calls but a manager might message you saying they are too fast. You start trying to really get to know a member and a manager yells at you for not hitting calls. -10 hour shifts - Nepotism, a lot of the managers are family or close friends. They get hired with no experience. This causes many issues in the company. - Turnover rate, seems like this company just goes for high turn over rate. They seem to fire a lot of people and hire a bunch over and over again. That way they never run out of workers. So they really just don't care about any employees since they can be replaced. - The illusion of caring about you. They like to have these meetings about care and their mission. But really this work place is just a really depressing work place where all of the employees are unhappy. They want you to care about people to make them a bunch of money, but when it comes to the employee they don't have a single ounce of care. There is a lot more that I'm probably forgetting. But just stay away from this place for your own happiness please. They just want you to work like robots and don't really care about you. Its really sad that a company that boasts about caring for individuals cant even care for their own people.

Pros

When I first started as an outbound enrollment specialist the company cared about its employees. They followed their “BBO’s” which stands for beliefs behaviors and outcomes. They appreciated their employees. Monthly incentives were paid out and paid correctly. Helping health plan members was a rewarding experience. Leaderships was supportive.

Cons

You can and will be bullied by team leads and department supervisors daily. The incentive pay changes monthly making it literally impossible to make any extra money that the company boasts and lies about in the hiring process. Management and HR use bullying and intimidation tactics. They will unfairly fire you for anything not following the company policies and procedures for discipline actions written or verbal. Be prepared for lack of training and unrealistic metrics you have to meet for onboards of app and call volume. Be prepared for threats of losing your job for not meeting metrics that’s not your fault on a daily basis. This company preys on member’s of health plans who are struggling financially promising food transportation and financial help. Leaderships will demand you do whatever it takes to get onboards including but not limited to lying to health plan members. Call center scripts are outdated by 2 years or more. Members who need support from a mentor do not get called like promised. Do not work “extra time” if offered. They will not pay you correctly for the “extra time” correctly and it takes 6 weeks or more from the day you worked those extra hours to get paid. Horrible company. Lots of nepotism! The only way to move up in the company is to be related to the HR manager!

Pros

The pay was great starting 16.50 plus commission when you get onboards on top of that. The team leads were all great, supportive and understanding. 1 hour lunch break.

Cons

You will get burned out especially since the new people coming in. Got to dial out 200 outbound calls a day to members. They are constantly changing and adding more technology, bought out inquisite health and more things. Which means more responsibility. They are not giving any raises. When I first started, they said they weren’t the typical “call center”. Which was true at first. You can put yourself into wrap up and take however many bathroom breaks you need and you could go to lunch whenever you wanted to. Now, they are just slave drivers. Everything you do or say now is under the microscope. They are turning into the usual slave driven call center establishment. Just don’t come in expecting to get off the phones within 6 months to 2 years. No one talks to that many people naturally and it will take a toll on you mentally. You will be working 10 hours shifts if you’re coming in at full time. It doesn’t matter if you’re introverted or extroverted. Talking to that many people for 8.5 hours everyday will take a toll on your mental health. This isn’t a review where I completely talk down on the company but I just want whoever sees this to make sure that this is something they wanted to do. Also, this company is big on diversity and women empowerment. If you’re guy and want to become manager or higher up there, good luck with that. Unless you have a specific skill such as programming, software engineering, accounting, then you may have a chance at those positions. The company was partially made to spite the usual men dominating the corporate atmosphere. If you’re considering working here just have a plan b lined. The mental toll of call centers are just not worth it.
