Pros

- Fast-paced work environment where you're challenged everyday - Ability to work on a variety of different project types and never get bored - Collaborative culture where you know you can trust your co-workers to make things happen - Focus on non-work events like happy hours, hikes and various other events to enable the team to interact outside the office - Ability for any employee to make a difference in the company, our processes, services, etc. - Constant improvement in processes and services due to the above - No micro-management

Cons

- Pyxl is fast-paced, and we're always taking on new, interesting projects. This is why I love Pyxl, but I've also seen this be a con for some who can't keep up. - Occasional communication challenges due to the workforce being spread across 4 offices, but this is something that's actively being addressed and improved on everyday.

Not everything is as it seems...

Pros

Learned to work in a fast paced environment with little support. It led to a better job in the long run. Oh also there's free health insurance!

Cons

Little expertise in managing people or giving clients quality work. Being a boss is easy, but leaders take time to create. Many will tout they are "girl bosses" but should get off social media and actually put in the work to be one. Serious lack of team nurturing in this turn and burn establishment. The company is solely focused on getting new clients rather than taking care of the ones they have. No real HR department. People encouraged to drink hard liquor in the office during working hours and finding gifs to add to emails because it's a FUN place to work. Employees deserved to be better served. Also, companies don't have to use gimmicks like nerf guns to make it a place people want to work...if you do, you are doing it wrong. There was an entire talk about defining company culture, and the only thing that came out of it was making inspirational posters to hang on the wall. When people would ask, how can we all bring these into our day to day lives? Their questions were answered with the sounds of crickets. No one takes responsibility here. Be cautious and don't believe all hype you hear.

Pros

high potential, growing company, great people to work with, always looking for ways to make work better, very cool clients, great projects

Cons

Account Managers have little control over personal time, work life balance is way off and most weeks are 60+ hours with very few actually close to 40 hours of work. Multiple offices with distributed teams can make emergency work difficult.
