Pros

The employee discount doesn’t come close to compensating the horrendous working conditions.

Cons

Unless you were related to upper management, kissed some serious butt, or were blonde with big t’s you were not going anywhere at QVC.

Pros

Building is gorgeous and they’re currently renovating In a great area (West Chester) People are great Large plot of land that makes it feel like a college campus It’s still a TV channel, even though it’s only QVC it’s still cool seeing things happen behind the scenes

Cons

HR is horrible Pay is extremely low Benefits changed from PPO to HSA Slashing vacation time Company is too “corporate” now and has moved away from a “family” feeling Losing revenue every quarter Probably on it’s last leg

Pros

People are familiar with the company. Brand recognition is the only positive.

Cons

Too many to mention. Actively laying off tenured employees. Directionless mess that can't compete in the industry. No commitment to technology path. Merger activity is not helping the situation.
