Organization is extremely lacking. If you are lucky and have a good manager, things will go mostly smoothly with a couple hitches as they are spread thin.
However, the last 8 months I was with the company I was assigned to an extremely transphobic and incompetent manager who would constantly belittle anyone underneath him. As a trans person, this was a particularly toxic workplace, and as a professional it was extremely difficult to work under such a person. Despite raising the concern multiple times to whoever would listen, it was made clear to me that none of my concerns would be addressed or listened to, even after escalating to HR. I was explicitly told by HR that it was not that bad because "your pronouns are difficult anyways", despite the fact that my coworker with more "conventional pronouns" was also constantly being misgendered. This manager felt so secure in being so abusive, he would even do so in front of the client, much to their discomfort.
To be perfectly clear, I was not the only person who had issues with this person, nor was his abuse solely transphobic, previous cisgender coworkers refused to work with him after getting assigned to him. However, it's clear that things are ran so ramshackle that every single manager is stretched thin, and they can't afford to even reduce the number of teams he is on.
If you are a LGBTQ person, just know that the company will not fight for you and will actively look the other way while you are being abused.
