Pros

Employee Discount, Excellent on Resume, working with other brands was cool

Cons

You really are just a number at revolve and they know that. You can easily be replaced by the next person. There is a reason why there is a lot of turn over. The pay is awful and I was there for two years. It is impossible to get promoted and you put in 10 hour days and it’s not appreciated. Upper management was dismissive, catty, passive aggressive, and didn’t care to see you succeed. You are held under a miscroscope and no one is there to help you learn or improve. It was a very disappointing experience. Also a company that offers no sick days is just horrible. I am so happy to have moved on. It was such a toxic work environment. I do not recommend.

Pros

Friendly and helpful coworkers and incentives Good company for your resume

Cons

This job has a high turn over rate because reps are over worked and micro managed. Leads and sr reps watch your every move even when working from home. When it’s super busy you are expected to do “mandatory overtime” which is tiring and very much a overkill for employees. At one point we were doing 10 hour days for almost three months. Because so many people quit the company is always hiring new people. They let customers get away with everything and make a lot of exceptions for them even when they’re wrong. This is why so many customers are entitled and rude when they call in. A lot of times management will make an exception once you’ve denied it to the customer which starts the cycle back up again. I’ve always heard it is pretty hard to move up within the company to different positions. For anyone who is reading this it’s a good starter job to have but alot of people get burnt out so tread lightly. When you vent or complain about issues the managers try to sweep it under the rug. But I want to shoutout my lead who was very nice compared to the others. Also the company isn’t that diverse. They have a bunch of white models and only one person of color. Also the CEO would send us these emails about how we should work when we’re the ones working way to hard handling the customers not him.

Pros

Discount is great. The Row DTLA is a great space to work. Hybrid schedule is a plus. Product is fun. None of it is worth it.

Cons

The salary is the lowest of industry standards. The workload and expectations do not align to the job title or the salary. The development processes are poorly established and extremely unorganized. They’re very behind in technology advancements and mostly everything is done manually. Which leads to a ton of human error and makes the job extremely difficult. Management is condescending and unprofessional. Too much micromanaging with lack of engagement and business knowledge. Managers are out of touch with actual business needs and duties in the office. No real leadership at all. Employees are simply not valued if they’re not the pet. I’m not just another disgruntled employee. I’ve never experienced this type of management or business practices before. It all feels like a step back in time. They strive to serve to Millennials and Gen Z but are embarrassingly behind. Side note: The products they’re developing are terrible quality. So many people said they’d never pay full price for the items they develop. I can go on and on… Just don’t waste your time here. There are plenty of other apparel companies that’s have their sh*t together. The turnover rate is high here for a reason!!!
