Amazing Company

Pros

RLI is a intermediate size company but feels small. Generally people are kind and willing to help out when needed. RLI also has amazing benefits including the annual bonus.

Cons

Our home office is in Peoria, if you work in a branch office the time difference can be frustrating. This is probably no any different than any other national company with offices across the country.

- Competitive compensation - Good benefits, including ESOP - Managers welcome employee input - Big company with a small family feel - Provides employee autonomy

Cons

- A bit slow to make changes, mostly in terms of technology/platform upgrades, but also new initiatives - Potential to miss opportunities because various divisions don't communicate as well as they potentially could
