Pros

Until and unless VISA was client it was good. But other than VISA this company does not have any other big client though this is running for more than 25 years in Industry.

Cons

Only single client VISA. VISA has removed all the jobs from R S. This company does not give minimum time to the employees who are in the bench. As they are moved in the bench the Company has started laying off those employees though they contributed and devoted to the company's work at their best. It was the management responsibility to bring up another big account beside VISA. But management was happy to deal with a single client. So this is not the fault of the employees. But then also employees have to suffer.

Single client focus has sank RS Software

Pros

Little Software giant on Mainframe in Kolkata. Learnt full software life cycle. Very highly technical people only can survive in this company.

Cons

Only had a single client, who have already shifted their work focus from RS Software. So downsizing has started in the company. Poor planning of management has resulted this. How poor planning can be disastrous for a such a huge technically strong workforce.
