Pros
Other colleagues are nice, pay is decent
Cons
Sometimes when you read reviews on Glassdoor you wonder if the negative comments are just from a few disgruntled employees. Well, I’m here to tell you that you should believe every word because if you don’t, in three months you’ll wish you did. Seriously, STAY AWAY. It is not worth the stress to your mental and physical health. The CEO is nuts. And that’s putting it mildly. I’m all about giving people the benefit of the doubt but I think there are some issues that go much deeper than some training can teach. The way she treats people is beyond my comprehension. She will call you out in meetings publicly with the sole purpose of making you feel like dung. If you make her mad she will freeze you out. And by that I mean she’ll give you the silent treatment like a 12 year old in middle school. She will tell you one thing and an hour later you’ll be berated for not doing something else. She has no idea how to respectfully disagree with someone, and cannot seem to rationally and clearly articulate her thought process. Any random thought that pops in her head is game and you better be ready to try and read her mind because giving direction is nowhere near her strong suit. I’ve literally asked, to her face, to have meetings to clarify and she’s turned me down. I’ve asked again and again for examples of what she’d like, yet she gives some vague response and gets pissed when the end result is not what she’s “envisioned.” I doubt even she knows WTF she wants. She has zero experience working on government contracts, so I feel really bad for the agencies that gave her company work because they’re pouring money down the drain. She trusts no one, respects no one, and will expect you to be working all day and all night. Do yourself a favor and work anywhere but here.
